Een rustdag vandaag, in St Ives. St Ives is erg toeristisch, meer dan toen we er in 2009 waren.<\/p>\n

\"\"Ik begin de dag met huishoudelijke zaken. Ik ga eerst naar de wasserette om de was te doen. Daarna loop ik een beetje door St Ives en dan vooral rondom de haven en de kust.<\/p>\n

’s Middags ga ik op zoek naar de\u00a0St Ives Brewery<\/a>. Die ligt een stukje de heuvel op met het\u00a0Brewhouse Cafe er bovenop. Na wat zoekwerk heb ik het gevonden en de rest van de middag breng ik daar door met het proeven van de brouwsels en lekker onderuitgezakt in de lounge hoek zitten lezen.
\nVanuit het\u00a0Brewhouse Cafe heb je een mooi uitzicht op St Ives.<\/p>\n

\"\"Rond 15:30-16:00 uur begint het te regenen. Dat hadden ze niet voorspelt… Maar, geen probleem, als ik weer terug wil naar het dorp beneden, neem ik gewoon de bus. Die stopt tegenover het\u00a0Brewhouse Cafe bij de grote parkeerplaats en voor \u00a3 1,00 wordt ik droog naar beneden gebracht.<\/p>\n

Het was dus weer een echte rustdag. Ik heb niet veel meer gedaan dan wat rondgeslenterd, gelezen en bier gedronken \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Weer<\/h4>\n

Het gebruikelijke weer, bewolkt en een aangename temperatuur. Behalve dat het zo rond 15:30 uur begon te regenen. Niet erg hard, maar wel genoeg om goed nat te worden als je er langere tijd doorheen loopt. Gelukkig was ik niet aan het wandelen.<\/p>\n

Songtekst van de dag<\/h4>\n

Om de een of andere reden speelt er vandaag constant een deuntje door mijn hoofd. Aangezien er verder weinig gebeurt is, bombardeer ik dat tot songtekst van de dag. Het is\u00a0Paradise In Distress<\/em> van de\u00a0Golden Earring<\/em>, een briljant nummer:<\/p>\n
